Excessive stress, a medical condition, aging, genetic predisposition, ... Excessive hair loss or baldness has various causes. Fortunately, there are also several solutions. If the cause is temporary, a dermatologist or psychologist can often help you. However, if the baldness is long-term or permanent, then hair implantation or transplantation is often the solution to regain a full head of hair and the confidence it comes with.

Hair loss is a natural process, everyone loses hair. A natural cycle goes like this: a single hair can last three to five years. After this period, the hair falls out and the hair follicle takes a rest: for three months no new hair grows here. After this resting phase, a new hair grows and lasts another three to five years.

On average you lose 50 to 100 hairs a day. But when there are many more, we speak of excessive hair loss. If there are not enough new hairs, your hair may become very thin or you may get bald spots. Hair implantation or hair transplantation: the difference

Hair loss in women, hair loss in men, bald spots, thinning hair or a receding hairline: the type of alopecia (the correct medical term for baldness) largely determines the best method. With a hair implant, artificial hair is implanted. The results of a hair implant are immediate. Our hair implants are of high quality and look as good as natural. Only the aftercare will be slightly more intense compared to hair transplant. Of course we will explain everything about caring for your new hair in detail.

With a hair transplant, hair roots are transplanted from a part of the head where enough hair is still growing, for example the back, to the bald part. For a hair transplant you need to have enough thick hair elsewhere on your head. If you choose for a hair transplant, the results are not immediate, as the hair will first go in a resting phase before it starts growing.
